It seems a good improvement over the stock pipes, but i was expecting at least the same price as the silicone IC piping. For $1250, what is the gain for a stock car?

With such a higher price, i bet than in less than a year it will be copied and sold for half of your price.

The price reflects the manufacturing process which is very labor intensive due to the overall length as well the stainless steel reinforced wire that is internal within the layers of silicone. I have not tested them on a stock car so I can tell you what the gains are. Regarding copies, other companies that only R&D (Rip-off & Duplicate) do not have any real research and development costs like we do. It is difficult for companies like EVOMS who spend an exorbitant amount of money engineering and testing a product for others to just rip our design off. We can hope that it does not happen but you can rest assured that if it does, it will most likely look like ours but I am confident that the knockoff parts will not have the same design features as ours. Like some of our other products that were knocked off, they may appear to be the same, however they have proven time and time again not to perform or last like ours.

Sorry for the rant but this is a very frustrating topic for us.

I have replaced my stock air inlet tubes to some bigger carbon fiber ones, not any noticeable power gain (if any). Actually this is not a power gain modd, its more for the turbos to suck air easier. Its a good thing to do, especially on modded turbos.

For the carbon tubes to be installed i had to remove the engine. I changed them the same time i replaced my transmition (under warranty).

I hope those silicone ones are easier to install

why not just replicate the metal prototype? Less chance of leak and collapse and it would be easier to manufacture

Due to the space, or lack there of, the metal pipes were not a good option. Additionally, the metal pipes retain heat and did not transition as well through the different sizes of material used to create it from the airbox to the turbo. The silicone is the best solution (IMO) - it will not leak and offers much better flow without absorbing or retaining any engine heat. The production is complete now and we are just waiting for the hoses to arrive. Should be any day now.
