Intake install issues.

I reinstalled my EVOMS V-Flow today and when I start the car the rpm drops low comes back and I can hear a 'ssss' sound (then it repeats). I checked the hoses and they are tight and the MAF is plugged in correctly (and in the right direction).

I put the OEM airbox back in and its still giving me the same issues .. any ideas?

I thought you were getting the cf porsche one. Leave the oem box on and goto porsche. I have never heard of anyone else say this. What about contacting the dealer you bought it from.

I don't remember mentioning the CF intake ..

Update on the issue; the I believe the sss sound is from the PSE, it went away after I plugged it back in. As for the RPM, I started it again .. same symptoms (stuttering RPM).

I then gave it some gas (up to 2000rpm) and it stabilized at 800rpm. I turned it off and on and it was fine..?

I haven't gotten any CEL lights; so i doubt the MAF died. I think the car might have had some issues with the new intake and the humidity.
