First MODS?

Hey Guys,

Being that I just got into my 07 Carrera S. I've been bitten by the mod bug. So out of curiousity, what do most of you guys modify first? Suspension(springs/coilovers), Intake, Headers, Plenum, Chip? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lose the amber front corner lenses and replace them with clear or tinted ones. I think Carlsen in Palo Alto sells them if you want to pick them up locally. Otherwise, many of the sponsors on the right sell them also.

+1 on the clear side markers. I also highly recommend hardwiring a V1 radar detector asap as well. Besides those, stealth bulbs all around, Hoen xenon matching foglight bulbs. Aside from those, my first mods are headers, high flow cats, and mufflers. Next will be Bilstein PSS coilovers and then some rims.

+2 clear sidemarkers & Hoen fog light bulbs are easy DIY's. Then tackle the exhaust and suspension.

Thanks for all the responses guys, I ordered the clear corners already from Carlsen. I'll look into the Hoen fog lights. I just wanted to get some feedback. Is it worth the $$$ and time to try and squeeze out more performance or better to just get cosmetic mods.

The lens are a must. But like most of us, the performance mod is more addictive. Once you start and feel the difference with a header exhaust upgrade. Everything else falls into place and your wallet gets lighter!
Welcome to the 6 & enjoy
