My '08 White 4S showed up wednesday...
I couldn’t be happier; the driving experience alone is worth the cost. During the five-month wait, I thought so many times; “never buy a new car”… this past days history has proved to me that it’s worth every penny.
It drives so much more refined than the 996. I really can’t believe the performance and handling of the 997. The car really does exceed my expectations; it fits like a glove.
I love the Bose system, the PSE is worth every cent IMO, full leather is a must… not only does it smell like a saddle workshop, there’s none of the old “plasticy” feel.
The dealer tried to get me to bite on the “Crisco lathering”, “NFW are you going to lather the engine compartment and interior with corn syrup…
These are crap pics, one at the dealership when I picked up the car, and one in the garage earlier tonight. I’ll take some better pics this weekend on a drive…
Anybody reading this thread, contemplating shelling out 100,000 for a spec car vs. saving 10 on a used one… GET WHAT YOU WANT, worth every cent!

Beautiful. I think I see some fishing gear in your garage and a word of caution would be in order. Don't put your catch in the forward trunk compartment unless you want to cook it on the way home. It gets HOT up there.

Neijia, I completely agree with you. Although I could have saved 15 grand or more if I bought a slightly used one, I don't regret this one bit. Because, for me, this is a passion purchase. Youcan't put a price on passion.
