Do you have NAV in your car?

CDC install

The cable is not in the car if it was ordered from the factory without a CDC-4. The cable must be purchased from the dealer and plugged into the MOST
loop. You have to take part of the dash board apart. There is much discussion on this site about aftermarket ipod adapters & bluetooth adapters.
Look for discussions on NAV-TV & Denison Gateway 500. MB

You don't need to order the cable to install the mobridge .. just use the fiber link going to the NAV DVD system in the trunk. I installed a Dension unit on my car the same way (No CDC).

I am not sure how the install on the mobridge is .. but if its anything like the Dension, yes. You can use any part of the MOST link (Amp, Head Unit, Nav).

I installed the Dension unit on a couple cars .. three of them didn't have CDC and it worked fine. Be sure to turn off the MOST system (lock car for a couple minutes) after you finish putting it together.
