Porsche Design Phone

Hey guys,

I saw an ad for a Porsche Design phone in the new Top Gear mag and thought I'd look it up. Here's a link to one on eBay. http://cgi.ebay.com/PORSCHE-DESIGN-P...sid=p1638.m122

What do you all think? Anyone have one? I have a good amount of other PD stuff (watches, pens, etc) and the quality and design are incredible. Just wondering about this... Could I really give up my iPhone????

Depends whether you use all of the features the iPhone has to offer; or whether you just use it to make phonecalls. Essentially, in my opinion, the Porsche Design phone is the same as the Nokia 8801 (which I've owned). They look really cool, but as far as functionality, they're horrible.

I have a friend of mine who has this phone and I really cant see why a person should have a porsche phone, first of all it isnt sophisticated in todays technological means and doesnt have features such as Wifi which makes it desirable.

A better solution is to get the new Nokia 8,000 series arte edition with the 3.2MP camera.

I find the Porsche Design phone not much to like. Personally I think the Vertu Ascent Porsche 997 Michelin Supercup edition is a better match design phone for my car.

If you like high tech phone then you should keep the iPhone.

Yeah. I guess I didn't realize how crappy the Porsche phone was. That's essentially what I needed to know. I am an Apple-a-holic anyway, and use everything on my iPhone. Thanks guys!
