Feeler: Tubi Exhaust for Carrera S

UPDATE:

I decided to go with the full AWE kit, so I will be taking the Tubi System and stock Carrera S cats off the car on 2/22. I will post photos at that time.

Thank you for the interest. I have been working a lot lately, so I'm sorry if it has taken me a while to respond to PMs.

END UPDATE:

I'm thinking about selling my Tubi Exhaust system for a Carrera S. The system is in good to excellent condition with approximately 5,000 miles on it.

Retail: $2480.00

Asking: $1,300 w/o tips or $1,450 w/ chrome Carrera S tips (I would probably prefer to sell it with tips)

Let me know.

I'm thinking of buying a full AWE system (headers, cats, and exhaust) and I'm kind of a freak at points about matching parts. I don't have to, but I thought I would offer it up at what I think is a very fair price to see if anyone would like to add a piece of artwork to their car. As far as the question about will it fit a Carrera...I'm not sure there, but I'm pretty sure it will...but, you'll want the tips I believe.

I've been debating tubi or AWE. I like AWE bc it is a complete system as well. I'm in for a group buy.

Do AWE mufflers sound deeper than Fabspeeds? I am looking for a deeper sound and Fabspeeds are too raspy for my taste. I haven't heard a Tubi muffler yet.

I had the complete Tubi exhaust F77 airbox and ECU on my previous 997S and I have to say it was incredible . The carbon box was like a work of art and I liked it so much that I bought the Werks 1 for my 997tt after trading in my 997S.

The combination of the parts on the CarreraS offered a sound and punch that I found very satisfying . I also like the AWE system and you can't go wrong with either but as long as you already have the exhaust it may be worth looking into the other parts before taking the loss by selling it .

Good luck either way .

I have a full system, AWE Cats, Evo Headers, Mufflers and Intake. Amazing sound, I am sure it is similar to yours!

Don't be afraid to Mix and Match the systems, same way you have Tubi mufflers with Stock Cats and Headers.

Thanks guys. I would definitely be interested in a group buy!

For now I'm not up for trading the exhaust, but if someone is interested in it let me know. For some reason I'm kind of against mixing and matching right now. Just an odd thing I have. When I use to tune BMW's I wouldn't mix AC Schnitzer and Hamman...kind of like Adidas and Nike...
