Finaly got my registration done and ready to post some pics of my new 997... hope they turn out alright. quick bio

1st ever Porsche
Previous ride- Range Rover
already had it up to 285km/h
Car actually arrived my driveway when i was on my honeymoon! so it was a full 14 days before I could actually drive it. torture and anticipation almost did me in.

Congratulations, Slate grey is def one of the best colours on the car.

thanks guys... i sure will. almost killed myself tonight going into an unexpected just built round about that i swear was not there last week. that's what you get for living in a city on steriods. hard on the breaks but the grip was unreal and the car kept me in it. wanna do it again!
Spyder997s - the car came that way. I thot that was the standard color. abviously not...what is yours?

 

They all come standard graphite gray (plastic texture), unless ordered as an exclusive option. Yours looks very cool. Enjoy.

Rookie:

I would not do a thing beyond clear side markers and clear bra. Your vehicle is outstanding, especially the Sport Design wheels. I have those on my 2006 black/black C2S. IMHO they are the best looking wheels - stock or not - on a 997. Only drawback is they are hard to keep clean.

In my view, too many of the "mods" we see here detract from the pure lines of the 997, especially 20" wheels in black. Porsche engineering and design are next to perfect as is, plus you won't hurt your resale value.

I was wondering what the 0 to 60 time is for a auto C4S with the power pack?

I think it's just about the perfect car.
