I was looking into buying an 06 C2 and the owner informed me that it was converted to all wheel drive from Porsche........ has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

I'd be shocked. There is not enough room up front in the C2 (hence the smaller boot), plus C4 has a different braking system. If they were to do those (plus the other necessary changes to get all drivetrain in), I can only imagine what it costs.

Ask the owner to show you some receipts of the parts and labors for the conversion

Even if the owner did do the work... its a very likely possibility that the work was done because the car was in a major accident?
