Opinions? I think I got a bad Tooki

I installed my new Tooki this afternoon and when I turned on the car, the PCM said "internal telephone not available." I reset the PCM, and still nothing. I then checked my connections by tracking the light flow and all is correct. While I was doing this, I noticed that the light in the Tooki that feeds the fiber line was going on and off as I moved the unit in my hand. Seems like a an issue with the light beam in the Tooki itself. I'll call Nav-TV Monday, but if anyone has any troubleshooting ideas they would be appreciated.

Also, I don't think its a power issue as my phone was able to find the Tooki and pair with it.

Well, it appears that it is not bad, but that my PCM needs some programming. NAV-TV was great. They replied to my email Saturday night, asked for a little more info and diagnosed the problem. A+ for service.

Very common when adding nodes to the fiber optic loop that the loop needs to be reprogrammed to 'see' each node again. We're working with NavTV to put together a full blown pdf on Tooki install since they seem not to have that yet. Should be up and going within days. Email me with any issues. (and I know you did, thanks!)

I've been getting the same PCM message re internal telephone... whenever I switch my Dension from auxiliary to CD changer, and it comes on each time I start the car. When set to the aux. setting, no problem.

All is well. NAV TV talked a local installer and determined that I needed a jumper under the boot. Next off to the dealer where NAV TV talked them through the programming that was necessary. Tooki works like a charm. Thanks to the guys at NAV TV, Hoffman Porsche and XX Tuning for their help.
