Daytonaviolet is infamous around these parts
from what i've heard from others who has a 997S and only the GT3 bumper, when going to the track.. they dont see any difference. perhaps if your in the higher 150mph range.. you'll feel something but.. i doubt its dangerous.

yeah.. if were gonna do a GT3 bumper.. i would put on a decklid/spoiler combo just to even things out. but, thats mainly for cosmetic reasons. of all the track events i've been too.. i've never heard of any one with a front spoiler complain of unstabilty at higher speeds due to not having a rear spoiler. but.. obviously i rear spoiler would help since.. porsche does put them on there cars

Rear wing plays a big role in racing that the reason we test different adjustment during our test day. Wing adjustment and suspension varies from track to track.

dont get me wrong.. i agree with you that the rear spoiler does effect the car's handling. my point is for daily driving and occasionly tracking.. unless you go really fast, i dont think you notice it much. but.. yes porsche puts the rear spoiler because it adds additional downforce.
