I know that due to this system wouldn't pass a stringent CA smog inspection due to the different cats. But I also know from experience that 99.9% of the time CA smog checks are a quick visual inspection and a tail pipe sniff.

Does anyone know if this system has successfully passed CA smog requirements?

Many thanks to Mike at AWE who emailed me that AWE will transfer the warranty! As usual, fantastic customer support from AWE!

Wow. That is exceptional.

I have one of the few Borla systems on my NSX and when it was sold new it had the normal Borla 1,000,000 mile warranty but that warranty expires with any transfer of ownership.

I don't even own a P car and have no affiliation with AWE but that's impressive.

Anyone know what kind of weight savings you get with this over the PSE setup?

If I remember correctly, the AWE cans are about 10 lbs lighter than stock, and PSE is heavier than stock... There are threads around here that give the exact numbers. I've driven PSE and AWE and the AWE sound is intoxicating. You can easily control the mood of the AWE by throttle - so if you want quiet, you take it easy (ie: in your neighborhood). But when you want music, you keep the revs up and use full throttle and it's just amazing...

Thanks for the feedback, Ron. I have PSE now and love the sound. If I had the regular exhaust - I would be sorely tempted.

I am reinstalling my PSE mufflers and removing my Evo Mufflers, I will weigh them and post my findings. The sound of PSE is quiet compared to the full exhaust, I am hoping to tone it down enough to please everyone else, but loud enough to please me.
