I knew that Evo were repackaged from some other manufacture, they were very loud when the rest of the system was installed. The PSE is quieter then the Evo, but will still give me the tuned sound and performance when I want it but the quietness when I need it.

Glad that you found a solution and are happy with the results.

I installed these on my '06 C2S and I loved the new sound. I am sure there are a few hp picked up there as well. Really woke up the sound....well worth it IMO.

That is the results that I have found, it is louder in both normal and sport mode, however in normal it is more then fine for daily driving and getting through the sound levels at the sticky tracks. When in Sport mode it is nice and loud and people are well aware of your presence. I leave mine in normal mode most of the time.

I agree with NorthVan on this. I have X51 headers, PSE exhaust, and AWE 200-cell cats. The cats add just a little more throatiness to the normal exhaust sound. During relaxed driving, there is not much difference in sound from factory sound. At higher rpms, it is a little more muscular sounding. With the PSE in loud mode, the cats contribute much more noise. To me, the combo is ideal, as you can sound reasonably refined if you want, but can also sound very sporty when desired. I switch on the loud mode and rev the motor when trapped behind slow pokes in parking lots. It announces my presence (and frustration) without having to resort to using the horn.

Sounds like the PSE is a great option.

IMO the Sound from Stock Mufflers(not PSE) with AWE headers and cats is Horrible.

The Remus mufflers, for me, were an excellent solution, I would guess they are the equivalent of the Quietest Cargraphics Mufflers.

Still louder and deeper than stock but not objectionable at all.
