Did you hear anything about PDK the new dual clutch semi manual paddle shift transmission?

 

No, he didn't mention anything about it but that doesn't mean it's not coming.

 

My dealer told me that "theres a good chance of PDK". I'm still hopeful.
And damnit! I'm supposed to get one of the first Canadian 09's but supposedly not receiving till fall.

 

I'd be very tempted to get an 09 w/PDK...leary about first production year tech though

 

I am surprised that so many are interested in a new and improved automatic, yet many people hack on people that have the current automatic.

Make mine a manual and I will be happy!

 

The MY09 will have available the replacement to Tiptronic,--with the "TPK" shifter paddles. Most of the obvious changes to the cosmetics to the 997 are to meet European standards which tighten up in MY09. You will notice a slightly longer nose, and what I would term "Dumbo" ears,--larger rear-view mirrors. The rear lighting change to LEDS also changes the shape the the rear lens to make them drain better than the originals. With the direct injection will be an improvement in fuel economy. PS growth will be very low. And by the way, if you like the 997 now or the changes for this 'face-lift' wait until you see the 998! You will LOVE it!!

 

What about the interior?
