My local dealer confirmed that there will be a limited number of '09 997's arriving for US sales in July; then as always the factory closes sometime in August and full 09 production begins thereafter. He said the first batch will be prespec'd by Porsche and he was told the HP increase would be about +/-15...

Not what I have heard either from my dealer or previous other sources over the last 6 mos...not only doesn't it make much sense for Porsche to make such a big jump in power, but its just not the Porsche way...but nothing for sure until it is.

Even 20 would be a pretty big increase.

 

I heard it's +500

 

with stickers it's +550whp.
