"OC" I'm not sure exactly what you mean "are the 2009's all facelifted now"
but the 09 MY 997 are supposed to be released in July and have the various changes mentioned including the LED's.

 

The 09's are rumored to have some good, but minor changes, similar to what happened to the 986 and 996 series of cars. Nothing ground breaking in terms of speed, power, etc. All changes just make the car slightly better.

I can understand your predicament. In retrospect, I would either wait like how you are doing, or buy a CPO'd 997 at a really cheap price There are a couple for sale here on this board.

 

The new PDK type trans should be a significant improvement in perf vs. the tip and might even be better than the 6 speed...hopefully we'll soon see.

 

Well said. besides, you can easily get yourself into the trick bag of waiting on the latest greatest model. since Porsche is constantly making small improvements to the car you would/could be waiting forever. in the end it is a 911, new taillights and 15hp are not earth shattering changes to warrant waiting all summer without a sportscar in your garage.

 

The discounts you can get now are hard to pass up for minor changes in 09. Im one of those who will tell you lifes too short to wait, its not like you will be unhappy with an 07 or 08

 

Those LED's are nice but not worth the wait IMHO
