Trade In Value for 2006 997S?
Anyone recently trade in a 997S? I am trying to sell mine but have not had much luck. Considering dealer trade in. 2006 997S with 8700 miles.
It's a shame that you haven't sold the car or better yet why not keep it?
I don't think a dealership will go less than 50K but you may get as high as 56K depending on what car you are trading it in on and how much wiggle room they have on the new car to avoid insulting you and losing the sale.

My 06 997s has just about every option besides ceramics and heated seats. I took it with ~15k miles to BMW and they were ready to give me 62k (I don't know if he was just playing with the numbers on his side as well to make it look good or what. I was looking at an m5 and they were discounting them big at the time so who knows)..I took it to newport porsche with ~18k miles they offered 54k and said the car needs new tires.
hope that helps

Have it listed on 6speed, cars.com and autotrader.com. Tried ebay with a prior car with no luck.

how old are you? if you don't mind me asking
Don't mind - 37. 3 young kids and house under construction that will be done this summer. Those have become more of a priority than the car.
Maybe you will feel differently . I have accepted that Porsche is a car that I love . The other cars just made the Porsche even taht more special .
Now I have a Turbo . You'll see . lol .
