In perusing the various auto sales internet sites this weekend, I came across this Targa for sale. I have never seen this gold color before. Is it an offering from Porsche (I can't find it on configurator), or is it a custom color? Funny thing, I don't know if I like it or not! One thing for sure, it is different.

 

Not on a P car, but it reminds me of the sunburst orange GM uses on their cars, usually see it on Vette's like the Z06.

 

This colour was one of the first colour's I saw the Targa in, I don't know the name, and I didn't see it on the Porsche website either, however this image was from them. Cool colour, not sure I will like it long term.

Are you think of a Targa now?

 

it is called Nordic Gold. New custom color. First appearance on 997 Targa. Will be on Cayenne GTS also.

Yes, Nordic has been around a while, as have our Bumper and Door Plugs in that color. Not a popular one indeed.

 

I have a Targa 4S that is Nordic Gold. I wasn't sure about it when I saw the samples, but I love it on the vehicle. It is a "paint to sample" color, so on a new purchase it's some extra $$$.

Nordic Gold. Was on a group of launch Targas. Available as a custom color (i.e. expensive). It is striking in person, but obviously not for everyone.
