Highest Hp 997 Na
How much horse power can a NA 997 make and how would you get the most power out of it. Has anyone done a dyno that shows good hp numbers. As far as I know evo sc is about the most you can get is this right. Can you get 500 horse out of this engine?

Depends which NA engine you're talking about:
GT1 engine block in GT3 produces 415hp (dyno's are consistent with that number too)
M97 engine block with x51 in the Carrera S produces 380hp (never seen a dyno for this)
Ruf R Kompressor engine (M97 engine with Ruf Supercharger) is said to produce 440 hp (some dyno'd their's and it was actually 440 hp at the wheels!).
Evo superchargers added to M97 engine is the same as the RUF, if not slightly more hp.
But adding a supercharger wouldn't make the engine Normally aspirated anymore

Porsche had an x51 kit for the 996 Carrera engine that gave the 320 hp engine an increase to 345hp.
I still don't understand why they kept the 3.6L in the 997, and didn't give it the 345hp output as standard (other than monetary and marketing reasons).

I think I've done everything possible to my NA engine other than supercharge it... it's in the shop getting finished up but as soon as its out I'm going to dyno on 93 octane and 104 octane to see the results...

Your only at 310 with your mods? My car baselined at 306 and I thought the GIAC alone would bump you to 320 at least?

I would think intake, headers, exhaust, bypass pipes, and a solid re-map/tune should get you to about 400-405 at the crank for sure. Maybe more???
So at the wheels is pretty good but not sure about exlipsing the elusive 400WHP mark with NA mods.
