Detailed C4S Cab on a new epoxy floor

I recently had Premier Garage finish off my garage floor and felt it would be a shame to put my car back in without a detail of its own. There's nothing like the rear of a C4S. Well, almost nothing!

Do you know if they sanded the floor or used muriatic acid to etch it?
The reaon I ask is once my car is done it is the next thing on my to-do list !
My friend,a painter, has expressed interest in doing this with me

Looks great by the way !

Love the floor. I think I am going to have to do my garage this summer.

Premier Garage sanded the floors to prepare the surface. Good luck with your project.

Premier Garage floors...

I had my garage floor done by Premier Garage 1 1/2 years ago. Best money spent. Muriatic acid etching is NOT done in the process. Only sanding down to the bare concrete, followed by bonding the cracks with "bondo" used in auto repair shops. A primary coat of polyurethane is put down evenly, followed by spreading of paint flecks onto the primary coat. Floor is then allowed to dry overnite, followed by scraping all the flecks not absorbed by the primary coat. Entire garage is then vacuumed thoroughly followed by a final clear coat that seals the floor and gives a satin sheen. Only one coat is given on final coat so as not to make the floor slippery when wet or dry. Finished product resembles a terrazo floor in a new high-end home. Maintenance is nearly 0. Just hoze off or wet mop with mild vinegar/water or ammonia solution. I use TSP (tri-sodium phosphate) highly diluted (3 pinches in 2 gal. of COLD water). Once over and it's clean with no need to rinse and no residue. Floor is guaranteed not to break down under oil spills, hot rubber tires when entering after a road trip, etc. There is a waranty for 10 years on the product, as I recall. In some areas of the country, this warranty may be shorter/longer depending on the installer in your area. Premier Garage is a franchise with the main company located in Colorado as I recall.

I am with Stacy, this is a do it yourself project.

Your Garage looks great, and the C4's have a great rear view

Don't get me wrong,if I had some extra cash I would love to pay someone to do it !
My benefit is I know a painter that can get the material relatively cheap.
We are going to try staining it for that marble effect.

Besides this damn car is chewing up my funds at a rapid pace,so the only way for me to do this is to do it myself,LOL !

Stacy, you are making me sound cheap I am going to get the commercial product sold at Acklands locally. I think that it will take me a day to do it and it is a simple project.

You would have more money if you went to work instead crafting the perfect body kit for your car

Sorry Ed,
Not what I was insinuating,LOL !
The only reason I can throw money at this car is because of how busy we are(construction) and even still I shouldn't be spending like this.

One question I have about the floor project is how dusty was this when they were sanding the floor?
I would imagine you would be needing to repaint the walls upon completion?
Did the sander look like one that would be used for hardwood flooring?

Thanks.
