I've been lurking on the 997 forum for a while and am shopping for a C2S. I've located a CPO car I'm interested in near Los Angeles, and want someone to check condition is as advertised, etc. Any recommendations for third party inspectors in the area?

I used a company called SCA Appraisal Company, they are located in Burbank, CA. www.sca-appraisal.com

They did a very simple inspection (no mechanical), basically checking to see if the tires matched, no damage to the interior or exterior, and no previous damage. I would contact a Porsche Dealer about doing a mechanical inspection if you think that it requires one. Good Luck with the purchase of your car.

Do not use SGS inspection company. They are completely useless.
