Black Porsches - SHOW ME YOUR TINT

To tint, or not to tint?

I have a black/black Carrera S, and I am leaning towards tinting it. If you have a black P car, and its tinted try to persuade me by showing some before/after pics.

No pics, but if your on the fence go very light shade IMO on a black car. Cuts down the UV nicely, does not look 'blacked out' etc.

I haven't got around to having tint installed yet. Come to think of it, I may not ever get around to doing it.

Hey tbone,

that looks awesome. Does the tint screw up the way the PORSCHE decal is shown on the rear window?

Any good shop that installs it can uninstall it.

IMHO, how dark the tint depends on interior color. on a black/black I would go with 50% tint. Practically cuts the UV and protects your leather interior but still can see out at night when backing up in not so well-lit area.

Go with Tint

My Artic Sliver is 35% Tint. You don't need 50% to protect from UV. Even a clear tint can protect against UV. Go with what you like looks wise, and if over 35%, be prepared to potentially be ticketed.
