Navigation Volume

Ok, so I've had my 997S for two weeks now and have been able to figure almost everything out but I can't figure out how to adjust the volume of the navigation system. Is it adjustable or do I just have to turn down the stereo to hear the directions?

Thanks.

Push the navi button and then push 'set' thats on the right side of the nav screen. You can change individual setting there for the nav volume and how low you want the radio to be when she speaks.

^^^That works!

Also, while the navi audible directions are being given, you can simply adjust the volume using the **** to increase/decrease the navi voice volume. Remember, you can always hit the "REPEAT" button for the navi audible directions to be given again.

Good luck,

Thanks OCPorsche! That worked like a charm. I couldn't find directions anywhere in the manual and I tried to adjust it while the voice was speaking but it just adjusted my stereo and not the voice.

You mentioned "her" voice and mine was set on a male voice so I was able to change that too. I prefer a woman telling me what to do... ; )

Sorry my suggestion did not work for you. Mine is an 08 and I use the volume **** feature quite often... maybe something has changed between the years.

Glad you got it to work!

No problem. I appreciate the suggestions and I will have to try the "repeat" function.

Thanks

haha

Push the navi button again and push set. There should be an option that says voice. Push that and you can select between a man or woman voice.
