Hi they are wraps.. and the brand used is ORACLE or 3M when i saw the stickers..

seems that this is nth new but i guess its a matter of pple not being aware of this..

the way it is applied is similar to those cell phone wraps..

Anyway im in Singapore.. so guess i guess i cant help u with this part..

i believe they are widely used on race cars where u see all the decals mostly depicting adverts.... but no one says you cant use it as an entire wrap

ok if you guys have done yours share yours too

hey guys i believe you can buy them but i guess the tough part is to actually the wrapping part?.. they use an enlarged piece of sticker and trim them using a sharp pen knife which should not scratch the car.

i guess a certain amt of skill is required for the application. From what i see it takes abt 5days with 3-4 pple attending the car...

There is no fixed price. Cost depends on what car(lol) and secondly probably size..

I think the lambo that did it for abt $2k+ ..( most of which i guess is labour cost)

the stickers probably cost a fraction of that but again im not too sure. Perhaps someone can have a say on this

if your going for matte colours i guess its worth it since.. a matte paintjob cost multiple times and from what i see they dun look as good as the stickers..

oh my those car shows we see probably used stickers i suppose

shizzle, it looks really good if you ask me.
this is not easy to install.
i must give it to the asian people. they do such amazing job with their hands.
anything from detailed toys to installation like this. i just don't think i can even challenge them when it comes to work like this.

Is it just me or do we think alike?

I'm thinking about going all matte black, but I can't find anything. Someone help us! We need to get someone that will do this (or one of us needs to) and sponsor this site (and many others). This is going to be a big deal in the car industry, I bet.

Just did a change of stickers to the side of my car. The amazing thing is that you can really pretty much do anything you want without worrying as its totally reversible.

Have a friend who fully covered his car and in doing so changed the colour of his car from black to grey!

Well, it's obvious that Singapore has a great shop to do this stuff. Back to the BIG question for many of us, how in the world do we find someone like this in our area? In my case, that's Charlotte/Atlanta. Anyone? I really want to go all matte black.

No problem mate, think it would look great if it was a matt black on shiny black paint of your car! That way there is a hint of the shield without being too in your face.

I'm wanting to wrap my whole car in matte black with some graphic along the bottom of the doors left unwrapped so the shiny black shows through and actually is the graphic...

Sounds like it would look stunning!!! perhaps you can check with the Singapore guys if they have any idea who does this sticker work in the US (they may be able to check with the producers of the material). You will need good guys- I have seen 996s covered where there was a join line on the rear quarter panel, whilst my friends car was done with no join line on the rear panel- that took 3 tries at covering the rear quarter panel before they finally got it right!!! The Singapore guys are Genconcept and can be found on the web.
