That's a cool concept.

What's the cost to do a complete car?

Any place that will sell stripes?

Does it require a heat gun to bend the corners around the bumpers or fenders?

Can you picture a Porsche in Camo ?

Much easier to do that way. I just did Bobbys, he bought an emblem and shipped it to me. It's only on there with double sided tape.

lighthouse did a red S application for me last week. as he warned before he sent it, the vinyl was harder to apply than he anticipated. it resulted in the curves of the S being a little more jagged than the original, so he was kind enough to not charge me for the work.

i ended up putting it on my car anyway. the jagged edges are noticeable when up very close, but i thought i'd try it out. will post pics once i get a chance to capture it at night w/ its reflective properties.

Would love to see the pictures, as stated the edges were jagged, but not sue to the application, rather the material. I will be trying new materials soon that hopefully wont have as big of flakes as this material resulting in a smoother cut.

I like this idea...

I never like the paint work from the bodyshop (no matter how good the paint job). You will get some overspray and uneven paint.

If you can send me the S I can scan it in a cut it with a plotter. I have a vinyl/clear bra business and this would be easy to do.

Cool post - I actually did this to my M3 two years ago - I sold it this year to step into my C2S.
