The Singapore guys are Genconcept and can be found on the web.
Thank you, thank you. Will do.

Kirthasa is infamous around these parts
Those are some pretty sick designs, and it's great that the change isn't permanent. However, how durable are these films (to both heat and scratch/impact damage) and how removable are they? I'm not in the market to do something like this myself, but it's interesting to see what other people are doing.

Vinyl will stay on the car until you want to pull it off. It will get softer with heat but will not just peel off. So as long as you arent lighting it on fire you are ok, same with Cold temps.

We do this kind of stuff in Northern VA, Due to a bit of reading ADD i could not pick out all of the questions in this thread. But feel free to re-ask whatever and I will answer as best possible.

FYI full wraps can go 2-5k dpending on whats being done. Smaller stuff is ovbiously alot cheaper.

You can buy certain things online, But somethings you would rather goto a shop and have done. Professional installers like myself have experiance in putting it on correctly so it not only looks good butit lasts. It always depends on what you want to have done in this instance.

This is all dependant on the installer skills and the material the client wants. Certain material and colors only come in certain witdhs, so on and so forth. Fully printed wraps like the LP can always be seamless because you can buy digital media and very long lenghs and print the patterns onto the vinyl. A matte laminate can be applied over top to give it a matte finish and protect iit from UV and road grime.

Yes certain wheels can be wrapped. I have a few sites related to that that are underdeveloped.

porschedesign -

thanks for the PM, i spoke to you about the red S as well. i checked around a few places in the US, nobody had them. similarly to 911bobby, if i sent you a check or something, could you mail me a red S as well?

or eric @ bumper plugs - you gotta get something like this!

I let my friend drive my car today while I followed him about in his e90. realized the car definitely could use that reflective S in the back . . .

Is all you are looking for a reflective red "S" decal? We can make these i would just need exact sizing. unless its a reflective emblem of course. Just a forewarning with reflective vinyl its very tough to remove if you ever change your mind!

I'm looking for what porschedesign showed in this post of the thread(https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ml#post1889799). From my understanding it's a sticker that goes on top of the original S (i.e. the lettering's still raised, you don't take the original off to replace it w/ a flat decal).

Out of curiosity, why is reflective vinyl more permanent than traditional? And when you say tough, will it still come off (w/ more effort) or is there going to be paint damage no matter what?

Ahh it would be the same decal then, you would just apply it over top of the emblem.

Reflective is not more permanant, it is just tougher to remove, since the reflecting properties of the vinyl are micro metallic pieces it does not come off in one peice. It "chips" off, So its still removable, it just takes a lot longer.
