997TT - First picture - modified by Europipe to fit 76mm outlet. Second picture - installed after black ceramic coating.

hmm both you guys on ceramic paintjob?

ok sorrie i'm new to this... so i guess considering the high temp the exhaust tip undergo

the only way to color it is thru ceramic painting? I suppose any paint shop does this?

Im thinking to paint my stock tips on this as they are currently nt the best looking hee

ANYONE with their stock tips painted?

Coating (not paint) is need on the TT with its high temps. Search Atomic80 - I believe he had a problem with painted tips discoloring on a TT. Also check Fabspeed and AWE - I think they both offer a black chrome tip.

i painted mine myself, they look exactly like the other 2 coated ones...
there are 2 types of high temp paint. you must get the one that is up to 1200, this one will work on exhaust parts.
I did use multiple coats, like 4 cans for both tips. would have probably cost the same to have them ceramic coated but i preferred to do it myself. there are many choices for colors for this type of paint.

seems like the popular color for painting are black?..

No one trying other colors?..

I am thinking of midnite purple or blue to give it some character.

Ultimately i am thinking to change them to smth like these..

Staggered set-up and one big one small ..

Anyone haf done smth like this?
