Thank you for the link. I would have thought that Porsche would have learned a thing or two from Audi's DSG. The way the Audi paddles are situated is much more intuitive and natural than what this video suggested for the Porsche.
I'll have to wait to drive it but my wife's BMW paddle shifters are the same way and I dont like it. It is also amazing how they are continuing to take the edge out of their cars. I thought that was the fun of having a Porsche, to learn how to drive it and drive it well. Oh well, I guess it gives them a bigger market and makes the stockholders happy. Although guys that started driving in 993's probobly think the same of our 997's.
I like the car but would pass on PDK as I really like shifting the manual . Regarding emissions and fuel economy throwing higher HP it seems like Porsche worked hard on this car even though cosmetically the changes are subtle .

I am very keen to see how PDK turns out. As mentioned earlier, I wonder if it has blipping on down changes etc. As far as the triggers are concerned, I wouldnt be too worried. Porsche has never figured out the change mechanism on the steering wheel but after market guys will come with the triggers just as they have for the 996 and 997 tiptronic already.
