XM Antenna

Another silly question:

Does anyone know if the XM option for 2009 will include an antenna on the roof? I won't get XM unless the antenna is hidden.

I don't think that even Corvette does that anymore? But, you're probably wise to ask. Is Porsche just now getting an aux jack in the '09?
Then again. For many, the engine is all they want to hear.

when we retrofit cayenne systems into the current 997 the xm antenna is placed right next to the navi antenna under the rain tray... so my guess is the new ones will be aroudn the same area if not even better integrated.

I have a portable Roady II XM radio in my car. I planned to mount the antenna under the plastic rain tray beneath windshield, and ended up sticking it under the corner of the driver's side front fender, as there was a small area just large enough for the magnetic antenna to fit. I have been amazed at how well it works in there, even though you'd think the fender would shield it and cause impaired reception. I seldom have fade issues with it.
