Comparison of Sport Steering wheels
That is why you are the engineer! Thanks for the correction Ken, are you going to flame me publicly for this over sight? :P
No,and hopefully there is no fuel left for any more flaming here for a while.
It took me a year to complete the project of this car. Before I did the EVT I had most of the parts . Tubi exhaust/ evo headers/evo intercoolers / IBD plenum / Werks1 carbon fiber intake/ Techart tips /GIAC flash . Then I upgraded and included the modified Turbos / performance clutch / Evo reflash /Hoses etc .
This was not the ENTIRE project . It took several weeks to get my HRE wheels .
Still not done -- took time to order and get my Techart parts which included front splitter/ rear diffuser/ side skits / painted roof spoiler/ Techart springs / Carbon vent/ Carbon mirror inserts .
Still not done -then came the interior . I ordered the Techart sterering wheel and chose the aluminum shift/brake .
Now i am done .
My car is not a "true" EVT700 in that I kept my Tubi exhaust and Werks intake . The car is a monster !!! I love it.
I need to update the interior photos but here's the pics. http://pictures.aol.com/galleries/yrralis1
I'll clarrify . The EVT 700 install only takes two days (lol) .

I did consider wheels and exhaust for her car but she is so happy with it stock for now.
When it comes to modifications I notice that people take different routes :
Type 1 ) Would like to take delivery of the car fully modified on DAY 1. That's me . I feel that every mile on the car is driven at optimum features . One gets full use out of the car and the customizations .
Type 2) Likes to drive the car stock for a long time and when adding the mods gets to fall in love with the car a second time .
I think she is more type 2 and I have seen many guys on this forum who take same route and whatever way works towards full car enjoyment is what i want for her. So stock it stays and my car is done (for now--lol) .
Well --I probably would have done a few more things to spruce up the interior but then I went out and bought an M3 . I have seen enough car things to draw a line in the sand with spending for now.

I am a type 3, and I think that a large number of people are as well. On my wish list is Brembo 380mm Brakes and a SC kit, but these are big dollars and they may get forgotten about if I suddenly get the urge to upgrade to a GT3!
OK, I just returned from Cars and Coffee. Huge turnout today, with 100 or more Porsches. I took my trusty piece of blue masking tape which was cut to match the circumference of my XPA wheel at the top center of the rim. I wrapped it on a GT3 alcantara wheel, and it was virtually identical in size, perhaps 1/16" smaller in circumference but not significant. For all intents and purposes, the XPA and GT3 wheels are the same size.
