Before you buy the Techart check out the Ruf one.

CEC wheels is a Techart dealership . They have one in Miami , and another on the west coast It's refreshing to see the words "discount" and Techart used in the same sentence . I paid full retail for mine.

I love the steering wheel.

CEC is the Techart US distributer.

I checked out Techart wheel prices in November and it was $2,000 at the Miami CEC store and $1,800 at a friend of mine with a local tuning shop...where I ordered it. I have heard the wheel is $2,400 now...so shop around if you want the wheel, but buyer beware.

It took four months for my wheel to be delivered. I didn’t want the Techart logo and it came with the logo indent at the bottom of the wheel still showing and had to return it. Some quality control! Even some of the guys at the CEC store thought it was dumb.

I accepted a better finished wheel after another month wait but it was still showing some of the old logo placement. I have now been waiting six weeks for my $600 core deposit that comes from CEC.

The wheel feels great but looks could be better and so could their core deposit policy. I will never get a CEC or Techart anything again. If the Ruf or the Rinspeed is an option, I would go for it.

Herre's mine . BTW some prefer the carbon fiber wheel . I opted for simplicity but both are beautiful.
