Wood Interior

I came across this car, and thought it would be a very well equipped car (based on options; Aerokit, PCCB, Nav, SC, ***, PSE, 666, etc) but then I looked at the pictures and went....WTF would (no pun intended) some put this in the car. Reminds me of when Jeremy Clarkson put the wood furniture and oven in the MB!

I would have considered it done in poor taste until I noticed the wood cover on the mobile phone. That completed and redeemed the whole theme.

I kinda dig the wood cell phone... But all of that wood with the dark dark grey interior is a bit much.

The kicker is the extra cost of the wood $10405 (as per the original invoice), how much extra commission did the sales rep make on the wood working project? Any idea what a CF or Aluminum package cost to "fix" this problem?

To each his/her own but that's not my cup of tea.

Mixed feelings here. Wood is nicer than stock plastic, carbon fiber is all the rage but actually ages very poorly as a cosmetic material (yellows and cracks). Aluminum may be nicer than all of these, but it doesn't get my blood boiling or anything. I like wood better in a luxury car, but have had a wood steering wheel/shifter/handbrake package in a 993 turbo and really liked it (even better than the carbon fiber package in a previous car).
I would be happy to pick up the wood trim from you and add it to my car if you do go that way.

I am not buying this car, someone sent me the link, I though that I would share with the 6 speeders. I think that this wood would look better in a Tan or Cocoa interior, and if wood is what the buyer wanted perhaps something darker might be a better fit.

Imagine if you would a Cocoa interior trimmed in Koa? That would be killer!

Wood has NO place in todays sports cars. If you want luxury get a Benz, 7 series BMW or Lexus or something like that. Totally disgusting!
