Congrats on the new mods, the Cats are awesome. Glad that I could help with your decision to make a similar set up. I had a toggle switch installed to switch the muffler, in "sport" mode it is loud enough to attract the police.

I've got the same set-up.

Softronic
X-51 headers
AWE Cats
PSE

And a cab. The level of volume under WOT is absolutely incredible. My wife hears me coming from miles away. Literally.

You'll be fairly blown away at the difference in performance.

Video and sound clips please. Sounds like a great setup. Looking into something similar. Anyone selling their PSE?

Tubi makes a set up aftermarket mufflers with the valve. Full page ad on Page 7 of the October Excellence.

You can install them yourself, at the most 2.5 hrs if you aren't doing the mufflers. It's the easiest install..

I don't unfortunately have any sound clips of my car. I think alot of people are running the X51 headers for several reasons...

1. They are OEM and fit like OEM (not that AWE has any fitment problems) so they don't hang underneath the car.

2. They are quite a bit less expensive

3. Most of the power increase is from the 200cpi metallic subtrate cats. Even according to AWE the headers were worth only 7rwhp after they installed the muffers and the cats. The X51 headers are probably close to that but at a fraction of the cost.

AHH I'm going thru withdraws, the car has been at GMG since 10am having the cats and headers put on. I'm dying here waiting for the call that's it ready. I took a video this morning of the car with the pse on and off before the parts get put on. I'll take another one when I get it back to compare.

Before AWE, PSE off then at 0:12 PSE on
