OIL for triptronic tranny ?

OIL for triptronic tranny ?

I need to buy oem oil for the triptronic tranny but my dealer don't have enough.I know this tranny is made by Mercedes Benz,it is possible to use MB oil instead?

are you changing the oil or something? if you are doing this for a 997, that seems a bit early. if you just need a top off, your dealer should be covering this under warranty.

A Porsche dealer's service department doesn't have enough tranny oil?

Sounds pretty slippery to me (pun intended).

I'd look for another dealer for service.

If you use other brand, just make sure specs of the viscosity / temp. range are the same and you should be good to go.
Not enough Trans. fluid at the dealer???? Maybe they don't like you. Just kidding. I would look for a diffrent dealership as well. Which dealer did you go to anyway?
