My 2005 997 C2s Cab
Hey guys a VERY good day yesterday. I picked up my 05 C2S Cab. WHAT A FREAKIN CAR WOW. I was grinning from ear to ear on the way home yesterday.
I had a 03 Carrera Cab, and that car was AWESOME as well, but this car is a notch up, hence a newer model.
Speed Wise 996 vs 997
From 0- 60 or so its pretty close I think with the 997 faster a bit, but on the hwy the 997 has such a nice trq curve I was in 5th gear doing 70 & 3k rpms and just smoothing the throttle and passing ppl instantly & 85mph. And getting your rpms up ova 4 and 5 k this car really winds out very fast car.
Handling
My 996 when I had 18s handled VERY good. Again the 997 steering is loose and is VERY sharp though whenturning and NO BODY ROLL at all cars on rails. I hit the PASM button just for a second and the steering got VERY TIGHT I couldnt believe it, havnt even tried the SPORT button yet.
I can write all day here haha but in general the 997 is a UNBELEAVABLE car and I just drove it 50 miles to home from the stealer with no sport and pasm buttons. The 996 is a hell of a car too though I will miss my 996 and the good times I had in it.
All in all guys if you own a 993 a 996 or a 997 we are some lucky dudes to have a P Car man. These cars are I THINK are the best cars built to date OVERALL. Enjoy the pics

Thanks for the compliments guys Im in love with this car its amazing. And we have a Nor easter going on here in NE and cant take it out right now im dying

Anyway the car was 103k brand new. It has a k40 Radar Detector built in it along with a Tooki BT Handsfree. It has 16k miles on it. To me its brand new and the dealer had it for 69k at first and got it for 66k. There are alot of 997s out there right now in this price range just look around. Plus this car is CPO certified a BIG plus. Hope this helps.
One bad thing about today being home in the rain Im spending money on mods already too UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Little things though
