09 C4s, LOVE it!

I went to see the 09 C4s this past weekend, the car looks great! Really like the red reflector connecting the redesign tail lights. It really exaggerate the width of the car. The face lift are subtle for front and back, but I think it is another classic. I was not completely sold on the restyle when I saw the regular C and Cs(in blue and green). But after looking at the grey 4S, I am very happy with the result. Not big on the retro cream white, esp it is extra co$t. Can’t wait to see what the next generation 911 will look like. Is that 2010?

isn’t the current 997 still consider a mid cycle facelift, even with the pdk? How long does each Porsche model last?

7 years is about the average. Some tweaks along the way, minor facelifts, additions, changes, but no major redesigns until then. I'd say we should see the 998 variant soon....couple of years, perhaps '11.

The next 911 is mostly likely called 991 and will come at the end of 2011.
The new 997-MK II is a huge step and it finally completes an all new model, the 997-I was just a bigger (visual) facelift compared to the 996 imho.

Special Order anyone?

I'm still waiting on my C4

I was given a November build date but it is half way through the month and I haven't heard anything?

Is this normal? I thought my Porsche dealer would get an actual build date prior to production?

Supposedly no changes will be accepted because the order is locked. Sounds like it should be built soon?

Any insight would be appreciated

I have a 4S on the boat now .... have a standing offer out there for anyone w/an 09 to swap regular wide-oval exhausts for the 'duelies' and I'll throw in the red stipe for no charge.
Not sure what I'm goint to do back there but the red reflector will go.

Always loved the red stripe for some reason! Just got the new Cristophorus (spelling?) magazine and they have a few good pics of the Ruby Red and Silver as well as few good articles..
