Tach - you're right about the slight mismatch. I always assumed the trim was the same alumalook color but the boot trim looks a touch darker.

I like the black center console, but the silver looks pretty good~ are you planning to get the ashtray cover painted as well? post pix!

In 997's, the shift boot trim is gray like PCM/Radio/Seatbacks. In cayman models, it is silver like door handles/glove box release. I switched to the silver.
