Price Check 06 997S?
Local 2006 997S with about 4k miles, aero, sport chrono/shifter/seats/exhaust, carbon fiber going for $70K. Seems a tad high - I figure it will sell in the low to mid 60s, but curious if I'm way off base. Want to have an aggressive figure in mind before going in.
Car doesn't have power/heated seats and no nav.
What do you guys think?

A bit high..for a CS, a CS cab goes for this if you are willing to search and be patient. Do a search. you may have to travel, and get it checked out by a mechanic or have it porsche certified, that's how I got my last p car.
guesstimate
I would figure they would sell it to you with CPO for between $60k - $65k depending on how willing they are to deal.
Sounds like very low mileage for a 2006! It is already broken in, has taken the biggest hit in depreciation and is ready to go for a run! Best of luck!
What color is it?

Looking for a coupe for now. Don't mind shipping, but this one's local, so a big plus. I did some searches on ebay, autotrader, cars.com, etc, but prices seem to be all over the place. Curious what the aero kit and only have 4k miles is really worth in this market.
Car was picked up in cali just a few weeks ago (i think)....figure the dealer picked it up wholesale. Wondering if I go in with a low 60 offer...if that's even really "low enough" given the supply these days.

can always add
You can always add an aftermarket insurance to cover service after the factory warranty expires.
I was told to figure CPO adds $2k so without it, you should get it lower - $60k sounds like about right to pay.
Nice color!

That's about right. The way the market is now, I would think you have a better bargaining power, start in the low 60k range. Careful with the miles and not being a porsche dealer. Have heard funny stories.

Everything is a bit more expensive in your part of the woods. I still think there are deals to be made.
There are Aero 997S's in Socal going anywhere between 72K and 79K depending. I searched for months and I would say mid to high 60's for a super clean Aero 997S with less than 10K is about as good as it gets right now.....

I looked up your car . It's beautiful BTW . The price for what it has on it is actually respectable . It has a full Gt3 aerokit and carbon fiber . That's not cheap to add .
What concerns me is the car's history and buying used without CPO you better have every nook and cranny checked .
Do full scan to check engine overrev .
Have body shop inspect structural integrity .
Also drive the car . things like water related engine issues would never show up in carfax etc.
They all look pretty on the used car lot.

I sat in the car, but haven't driven it. Looks brand new inside. The dealership is fairly reputable, I think....but I might take the advice and get a PPI at the porsche dealership.
All might be moot though if I can't get the price in the low 60s - I'll aim there, but have to sell my existing 997S first (black/black, 34.5k miles).
