I had wanted black instrument dials but it appeared that the sports chrono dial would remain in the standard white which wasnt going to work for me. The more I read on this forum, it sure appears that I can have all black dials including the chrono dial. I put in a call to Porsche America to make sure about this. Here is a pic I found on this site of an S Car with all black dials.

 

Going to be a classy ride no doubt about that. Got to post some pics upon delivery for sure. Is it your first P-Car?

I can confirm that if you order the the black dials (free) the sports chrono dial is also black. I did that on my 09 S. I'll send you pictures.
