I am ordering a new Carrera and would like to compare the various wheel options. I have been unable to find the specifications, weight and width, for the OEM wheels. Appriciate any help.

 

I got this data a little while ago I can't remember which board but thanks to whoever posted it first! I don't have any data on the new 09 wheels.

The Porsche wheels are pretty heavy, for lightweight wheeels you really need to go aftermarket. Champion, HRE & AMT are some makes that come to mind. Do a search the guys on the TT forum are all over this.

I am told by the nice folks at WheelEnhancement.com the 2009 Carrera S II style 19" are

approx 22 lbs front
and 27 lbs rear

This is for the widebody C4S.

Corresponding P40's 21.5 lbs / 25 lb and F110's 18 lbs/ 20 lbs

I am craving the P40's bad but the weight savings are with the F110's.

Wow, 30lbs for my rear. That's not light at all. Thanks for posting the numbers.

 

I also ran across on other thread stating what wheels were forged and that most are cast.
Can't seem to find that thread?
Regardless the weights are all about the same.
