06 997C2SC price advise

Got an offer to buy a blk/blk C2S Cab in the bay area Porsche dealer for $62,500. Car has about 24k miles, excellent condition with remaining factory warranty plus CPO. Nav, Sports Chrono, and etc with original MSRP slightly above 100k. The car is very clean and almost new inside and out. Given the recent market, what do you guys feel is the right price for this vehicle? Not trying to beat down to the last penny but a fair price would be fine. Thanks.

Options as follow:
X70 - Metal Door Sill Model Insignia
XXZ - Foot Rest Aluminum
XSC - Porsche Crest in Headrest
M6A - Black Mats - Porsche lettering
692 - Remote CD Changer (6 Disc)
P15 - Power Seat Package
670 - Navigation for PCM
640 - Sport Chrono Package Plus
446 - Wheel Caps with Colored Crest
342 - Heated Front Seats
680 - Bose High End Sound Package

Just picked up a 06 997S last month for 68K. MSRP was over 110K but it only had 8.5K miles on it! With 24K miles I would say you could probably get them under the 60K mark given todays market!

Thanks for the input guys. A year ago when I was there for a Cayenne they didnt even wanted to discount much, so definitely things have changed. Good for the buyers for sure.

Sorry but purchased the day after i posted this thread from a local dealer. I would have preferred a coupe and PCCB but this was what's available at the time so decided not to wait. Thanks.

Definitely a buyers market. I just picked mine up in Nov. 06 C2S 17K miles for 65K. The original sticker @ 118K. I snapped it quick though.

The C2S is priced to sell. I saw a few 09 leftovers today just waiting for a home. BUT --the real bargains are on :

1) 07 Turbo -- These cars MSRP at 140 and can be found under 100 private sale and just a hair over 100 CPO .

2) Cayman -- Leftover 08's and even a few 07 which are still new .
And on the used market the non S can be found in the upper 20's and S in the 30's to low 40's depending on options .

The advice on this forum is phenomenal! It definitely helped me negotiate my deal. Just purchased a 2007 C4s over the weekend with 8500 miles.... Has nav, bose, heated seats, sport chrono, carbon fiber trim. Got it for 67k. Has 4 years of warranty left. I'm in love. Will post pics when it stops raining. Did get entire hood and front fenders venture shielded today. There are definitely deals to be had! Good luck.

You got a great deal on a fantastic car . I should have included the C4S on my list. Since the MSRP on C4S cars is higher than the C2S the previois owner took the big depreciation hit much like with the Turbo .

In short the higher MSRP cars (unless they are rare like a Gt3RS for example) can be found and you did exactly that .

With the Cayman --there are plentiful enough to also sell well.

The C2 and C2S are the hardest --but deals can be found.

I'm so glad you got the car. Pics needed .

My final purchae price was 61k + taxes and fees just for those that are in the market. It has been a great car so far and look forward to driving again as soon as the rain stops. The only problem I have is getting the rolling code garage door to sync with the car. Followed the instruction on manual, also visited homelink website, but looks like I am still doing something wrong. The instruction states to press the desired program key 3 times, and each time 2 seconds which doesnt seem to work for me. First time you press, the light flashes slowly, second time you press again, it disappears, and third time is the same as the first. Any of you have the same issue? Thanks.
