I officially joined 6 speed 1 year ago today and thought that I would review the last year.

Over 2600 posts...I can't believe that I made that many.
Numerous mods, my car was stock 1 year ago!
13 Track days

Sold my Allroad so I could take my wife's Touareg to tow my Porsche to the track, and have bought a trailer to get to the really good tracks in the US (Washington, Oregon, California).

I purchased a few items from 6 speed members, and I sold one item on 6 speed to a member that thought it would be a good idea to flame me, when things didn't come together as well as he wanted...I still laugh about that one.

As well I have made a number of friends, some I have met, some I want to meet, and a few that I never want to meet!

Thanks for putting up with my wise cracks from time to time, and giving advice and input when I needed some, and hopefully I have provided some positive input to some other members. I am a member of a few other forms (Porsche and non Porsche related) and I really enjoy the people on this one more then the other forums that I frequent.

Looking forward to the second year!

Wow! That's a lot of posts. Sounds like a good year to me. I wish I had done 13 track days in the last year.

13 didn't even seem like enough. I am hoping for 15 to 20 this year.

Like others have said, I do appreciate your contributions to the discussions. I look forward to having a ride in that beast next time I'm in Vancouver or next time you're in So Cal.

It has been an interesting year and I am glad that you and others enjoy coming here as much as I do . Enjoy the car , and posting about it ... all good fun.

 

I seem to remember you did all the talking.

I would say that meeting you was one of the high points of the year. You are very enthusiastc about cars and mods. Keep it coming.
