What HP do you think I can get out of these mods?
Just out of curiosity what do you guys think I can get HP wise out of these mods? I have taken the EXTREMELY liberal numbers from each of their own websites and have come up with near 440HP if they are accurate (which I highly doubt!). What do you guys think? Does anyone have these exact mods that ran it on a Dyno with some actual numbers before and after (each dyno is different so a before and after is 100% necessary for any kind of info to be assessed!)
Stock 08 997 - 345
Fabspeed Bypass pipe (-50lbs from rear) - 15hp
Fabspeed 200 cell Highflow Cats - 15hp
EvoMS Sport Headers -15hp
RSS plenum -20hp
X51 Intake -15hp
ECU -15
Total -440HP

IMO, probably 25 HP max. Unsprung weight will yield better acceleration and is always a plus, but half those mods will net you no HP while another (by other peoples accounts) will yield less HP.
+1, not a hope in hell will these bolt on mods generate 95hp. I have most of them and speak from personal experience. I would say that adding a LWFW will do more then the bolt on exhaust for quickness. If you want a lot more power for relatively little money you need to start with a Turbo, then a simple flash will add a lot of power.

**this is not a big deal at all, you dont race dyno numbers!! Most people dont know how to utilize all their cars potential anyways, im just curious to how much everyone is inflating their numbers and what my car should be running without taking it in on the Dyno** Plus im bored as **** at work! haha
Depends on what dyno and operator measure your gains. Could be anywhere from 10 - 150 hp. Let me know how much you want and I can get you a dyno chart to refect your gains.
Mod to the feel of the car and not to the dyno numbers. Mods are not accumulative.

have you had your car dyno'd?? what were your numbers?

Search through this tread and it will show you dyno results, please don't comment on this thread, not sure I can stand the Plenum debate again

Check out my post right above yours! I agree 100%. trust me, if I had to pick 1 thing that made the biggest difference on my car, it would be the bypass pipes and from what I have heard, they actually decrease HP! haha. I could care less about numbers, just out of curiousity.

I haven't Dyno'd, it is going to improve my performance, and I don't think numbers are always 100% accurate from test to test. A few extrinsic factors can effect the results.

no no!! I would never even bring up that thread EVER again!! hahaha!!
I read through it all, no worries!
You could do all of those, or skip to the SuperCharger and get 120 real RWHP and be done with it.
IMHO, the LWFW made the biggest difference, and that's not on your list. It doesn't add overall HP, just usabale (wheel) horsepower. More of your crank HP makes it to the wheels.
And BTW, a stock 08 997 is not 345hp, it's 325hp. The stock S is 355hp. And the the stock S with X51 is 385hp.

Typically the people that dyno test and sell aftermarket parts give you the PEAK hp/tq gain, which will occur at some RPM on the dyno.
This RPM point is likely different for each part. For example the Plenum dyno charts suggest it's mid RPM gain that you really get, not much (if any?) on the top end. The best thing to do (as said above) is to get a baseline dyno and then dyno after the parts are on. If you are really on it, dyno after each part is installed and try to keep ambient conditions controlled (temps/humidy within 10% of baseline run). That way you can see what each part did to affect your car.
But the key thing you can measure on your own is weight (as said above). If you pull something off that weighs 30lbs and replace it with something that weights 5lbs, you can bank that.

I just read your post's on your LWFW, Im saving that till my clutch burns out (hopefully thats a long way away!!)!! The supercharger is also out till I get at least 10-20K on the clock, and that will also be a long way away (currently have 500 miles! haha). listed on the porsche website is the 08 997 with 345 hp and the S with 385 HP. I was going by what everyone on their website has everything listed at.

to your last comment... I weight 300lbs... If I didnt eat lunch and took a big **** before I got in the car, im pretty sure I would trim the MOST weight out of any aftermarket part I could put or take off this car! aha hahaha

The other guys covered this pretty well. It doesn't work that way - just add up the HP claims. Everything is a system. I debated everything and tried a few things. In the end, I went with:
X51 headers (owned others too, X51 is OEM and a great value)
AWE cats
Softronic software
Tried aftermarket mufflers, went back to stock. The combination of X51 / AWE cats / Stock mufflers and Softronic was just right. Better performance and sound.
No to intake and plenum.
Would not consider LWFW because it voids engine warranty per Porsche bulletin.
Loads of threads here about all of this - try a search and read up.
