Just a quick side question and it is not intended as a criticism (well, that's surely a setup) but why would anyone buy the Aerokit rather than the GT3 bumper treatment? They are visually similar but the GT3 thingie has the free-breathing vent that HAS to be good for the little gal. I suspect it really and positively affects the cooling efficiency of the two or three radiators up there and thus the performance and longevity of the all the things in the back of the car. Probably even helps to keep the temperatures lower in the trunk which is important if you're transporting your soft boiled egg collection.
I actually think the vent should be a stock item for all models. But I'm a function drive form kind of guy. What am I missing?
OBTW, nice car.

The aerokit was ordered on the car by the dealer on this particular unit...we added the wheels to dress it up a bit more as it looked sort of unbalanced with the kit and big wing and wide fenders but std 19s...the 20" Modulares beefed it up just a tad w/o being too ostenatious

I know this is an older thread, but I came across it while doing some research and wanted to comment on this. I recently had the option of getting either the factory aero or the gt3 and went with the former because from a style standpoint, I actually do not like the additional vents. So for some, it is just a style choice.

NP. And I re-read my note and it sounded a bit critical. Sorry, definitely not intended. But while I'm here (!), the other issue that (for me) favors the GT3 nose is that the splitter is not painted. Just raw plastic. Based on the number of times I've scuffed mine, I'm very glad that I don't have to have a new one painted every time I replace it.
