anyone using AWE Carbon Fiber Strut bars?

Im thinking about picking up their CF strut bar because they are running a good deal on the front bar. But they dont make one for the rear, so Im going to get a different companies rear CF strut bar. Is it ok to mix and match? anyone have any experience with the CF strut bars?????

Nugent, I have one from AWE, not sure if it helps, but it weights nothing.

I bought it in a moment when I wanted to support AWE for being a good supplier and board sponsor.

It isn't too expensive, and easy to install. The only problem is that the plastic covers don't fit as well after the install.

Mike and AWE are good people to deal with. I support the board sponsors whenever I can. I have not found one that is bad.

I do not understand your response?

your car does not need strut braces, the tub already is very stiff and had built in braces.

If you think they look cool and impressive by all means go ahead and buy them for the bling factor.

MrDrums-
I meant that anyone who upgrades their car usually puts them on their car. Why would anyone put them on their car if they are useless??

They do not use them....the basic tub for the car has them built in/designed into the car....strut bars are not needed nor do they help on a 997.
