my 997 Progress...
I purchased an 08 997 in Dec and have since been addicted to modifications! RPMNorth has only made this worse! Everytime I go into their shop they always have these bad *** cars they are working on and I always see something I want! They give great prices and do great work as well. So far I have 900 miles on the car and am in LOVE! Its snowed pretty much at least once a week so its hard to get the car out of my driveway which is on a hill, but if i can get it out, its my daily driver.
Current mods:

Upcoming mods:

You're diseased! Get some help.
I would leave it as is.
Unless you are doing some serious track time and competing you will be fine with the stock brakes and stock suspension IMO.
You have done some great upgrades already, and have reached pretty much the engines potential (headers, cats, intake, Plenum).
If any I would do the flash next to get your cars ECU tuned to work with the above mods, and you should reach your peak.
Your car is great as with the mods you have done, no enjoy it and spend some money on track time and tires!
But hey its your car and your $$ so do what makes YOU happy. Thats what i do.

Craig,
You have definitly caught the mod bug, welcome to the club. I agree with Mobonic as to the brakes, you may wann to look at the GT3 upgrade kit that Suncoast sells, a lot less money and will keep the unsprung weight down.
Try your car on the track and then decide where you need to improve your car.

How much of a saving in weight going to the GT3 brake upgrade kit, compared to the stock 997S?
I currently have a 09 c2 non s. I would really like to change my whole brake system to have a S brake kit with red calipers. Where can i buy an entire s brake it with red calipers? Will it fit on my non S? Or do they sell gt3 brake kits? Will it fit on my 09 c2 non S?

One of the 6speeders did that. Kaz, IIRC was his forum name. Contact him.

They are heavier then the S brakes, as the are an inch smaller then the GT3 brakes, but the GT3 brakes are an inch smaller the the 380mm Brembo Kit. Suncoast has them as an upgrade kit.
Thanks for your info. I was hoping it would be lighter. Well, I guess the Girodisc rotors are the way to go for unsprung weight diet then. What's your opinion on those?
You could also get a set of PCCB's from Suncoast.
Dear Nugent: Congratulations then a question and a caveat on your new car. First, when they did all the work adding the X51 intake why did you add the RSS plenum? Second, I hope your car was a used one and properly broken in; it sounds as if you really like to push it already so I sympathize with you or the next owner in a few years - the rings aren't the only things that will need replacement.

. I will definitely check into Brembo OEM replacements. Hope they're lighter than the OEM. Thanks.

I am glad i clicked on this thread. Nugent --I hear ya !!!!
I have been running amok too conquering engine, exterior , interior , suspension --the full monte.
I am now at the stage of having two exhausts . A spare one too.
and two suspensions
At least for now.
Nice set of mods BTW .
I don't call it "addictive" though . Buying mods is a voluntary behavior I have not modded my other cars . Just this one in an effort to create something very special and unique. I can spend time and money on other things but wanted to create a lifetime memory with this car .
I know very well what its like to wrestle with each purchase and focus on detail comparing every aspect from the time the little spark enters my mind to the day its on my car.
I wish you well with this .

2. My car has 300 miles on it before I installed the exhaust. I have two belief's on an engine break in procedure. I ride motorcycles and have had MANY new and used bikes. I have tried both breaking a bike in the way I use it everyday (full throttle light to light!) and breaking it in gently like the manual states. Most of my bikes have 20K miles on them and the bikes that I have broken in hard actually put more HP down on the dyno then what they are rated at stock. I wish I could find these articles that I have read, they were mostly related to bikes, but it still applies.
One of my reason's behind this is why would you break an engine in with an exhaust that you dont plan on using (stock). I would want my engine to be broken in with the exhaust that I plan on using for the long run. I also believe that you should break in an engine the way you plan on using it everyday. The rings need to be seated for hard use. I know I am going to get flamed for this, but its like everything else. Tech inproves with R&D... look at the post I put up about changing your oil at 20k miles. My eyes have been opened!! (but I still am going to chance it every 5k! hahaha)
