my porsche dealer is offering me to change the old look to the new look with changing all parts needed the front led the head lights and tail lights all in 12000$ and they'll cancil my waranty
what do u guys think?

 

Waste of money. Spend the $12k on performance mods, like a SuperCharger.

I would agree with Cattman, use that money for go fast goodies or DE + Vacation. $12K w/o warranty for OEM parts.....wow, what a deal

I think you're better off to trade up to an 09. You will get facelift, better engine, better PCM, LSD, aux/mps outlet, plus a host of improvements ,etc.

 

If I had a money tree in my backyard....maybe

 

i agree with colonel...trade up to 2009...could be much more expensive if anything covered under wrnty goes

 

agree with the above and i also think porsche messed up with the rear tail lights. they are ugly especially the way the meet with the body panels. do like the front better though

I am surprised that any one would even post the question. $12000 for some different bumpers and headlights...yeah right! This would not add any value to a 997.1 if you were to resell it.

Trade your car in and get the 997.2 instead.

 

if you meant to say $1200 maybe but $12,000 hell NO. I can get the best body kit in the market, make my car looks way better and still saving some money. Also I don't understand why would they cancel your warranty ????

might as well spray your car Azurro California Blue and declare to be club coupe #51, it will be cheaper and more unique.
