Anyone come from a NSX?

Was a top choice for me but ended up going with the 997 I have now.... the NSX's seem to have held their values much better then our P cars. Anyway, curious if anyone owned a NSX prior and thoughts on the car compared to the 997; any regrets etc. I may pick one up 02+ and keep my 997 or make the swap in the fall.

I did have an NSX....
Needs more power so I supercharged and NOS it!
Made 378 RWHP.
Still not enough, ended up buying the LoveFab turbo and it made 508 RWHP.
Problem is never got to drive it before I was offered good money for it!
The only thing I liked better about the NSX was sitting in the driver seat.It felt kinda exotic!

Do I miss it...YUP !
Would I sell the Porsche to get another one...NO !
Just be careful with buying one as factory parts are getting real hard to get and very expensive!

My name is stacy'snsx on NSX prime.
If I can help you in any way with your questions, let me know!

Here is a 6speed link to the NSX

Hondoo is infamous around these parts
Mickfluff: I did not have one but, I to chose an NSX over the 997 first. I flew to Vegas to try one as there are very few NSX's in New Hampshire. Almost fell over when they drove it around from the back of the dealers building. Sweet yellow as justatoy had.

I really did fall over in disappointment when my head hit the roll bar. No mater what position I placed the seat, I hit my head. Instead of replacing the power seat with a lower racing seat I ended up with the 911. So, if you are tall, make sure you fit comfortably. You may wish to see http://www.nsxprime.com/ as they have all kinds of information and can even do a check on NSX's you may find.

Good luck, but I would keep the 911. I may end up picking up an NSX and replacing the seat when I have enough room in the garage for both.
