That's better..........but could use a tad more imagination.

Way too much 'straight horizontal' going on across the whole front of this car (IMHO). The cut off line (just below the 'horizontal slit turn signal / running lights) is a line you can draw straight from wheel arch to wheel arch..........very little imagination there. It's punctuated with those running lights which run parallel, the straight line openings of all all three holes (inc the center which goes no where)......and then also the bumper chin which likewise is a straight line rap-around, wheel arch to wheel arch.

I'm confident, you'll see some better ideas that will compliment this body..........they won't be cheep (alot of bumper there) and the biggest challenge is working with those turn signal/running lights (or offering an alternative light assembly that integrates 'differently').

LOL! Such serious commentary! This was literally a 10 minute photoshop I did. All I did was stretch the existing front end down. All the style lines etc are from the original car. Even as 'bland' as this is, it's better than what we got now.

GreggT, seriously I kind of agree with you. I'm sure somebody could come up with something better by spending say 6 times as much time (like in 1 hour) I wonder how many hours P spent?

would look great! that's a very nice photoshop, and i can really see that selling well on the market! it looks realistic and easily marketworthy for a front bumper. i think that perhaps to spice it up how about some GT2-nose-style gills at the top (near the bottom of the hood), and a little bit more dramatic lines on the front? just a suggestion for a nice photoshop

I was sitting there looking at the hood/bonnet of the 997, comparing it to early 911 proportions. I think there's an opportunity for someone to remake the hood and bumper cover, say in CF, with the hood reaching down and forward and four inches. Maybe another six inches. And I'd try to dip the hood to recreate even more of the original fender height in appearance.

Here is a version with a little more CGT look, and less of a smile:

I think by doing that you would be blurring the line between fronts for the TT and the NA cars....

I'm not a huge fan of the cornering lights. What if those are removed or reshaped?

Kinda what I meant when I said.......... an alternative light assembly that integrates 'differently'......ie BETTER.
Food for thought......here's one of the things Strosek did back with the 993.

Hmm, this one looks nice. I think some brake-ducting in the lower half of the side openings would look real slick

Thumbs up

How about something similar to the 993 GT2?
