you can do an 11.5 if you want but there's no reason to. In fact a 12 inch will also fit if done correctly (GT3 for example) but just stick to an 11 or 11.5 if you want.... Going wider than a 235 in the front can also make you rub when you go full lock.

Alex has it covered. An 11 or 11.5 rear would be perfect for 19's.

Wish I could add something constructive here....but I'm more familiar w/the wide body clearence & offsets.

You might be aware that the front 'S' calipers are 'out there' a bit....so might want to keep that in mind depending on the wheel design you choose.
And....if you are ordering custom wheels, offset s/be high on your list of decisions. I'm **** on this and try to get pics of cars with dif offsets (and known ride heights)....to help with the decision.
Good luck to ya.

Alex I have heard of people running 9" width up front with a 255 tire with no issues. Is it all about the offset.

HRE P-line (I have P43s, but the P40s are wildly popular on this forum) are designed to match flush with the wheel wells (they come in different widths depending on widebody or narrow body). If you choose to go with one of the HRE P-line wheels, then you won't even have to worry about picking a width or dealing with spacers. Luckily, they're some of the very best looking out there, at least in my opinion...

Having the 'right' offset......means no spacers.

the widest you can go in the rear if you want 19" diameter is 305/30. a 315 only comes in 25 aspect so its way too short and the GT2 325 is too tall a tire for the electronics on the car.

for better balance do a 235 front and 305 rear max with a 9" front and 12" rear just like a gt3

for 20's you can do a max of 12 with a 325/25.
Bara the GT3 wheels are 8.5" up front. I have seen people running a 245 on the front. that would be the best balance. If you increase the track of the rear wheels by 10mm you should do it up front the same hence the 245/305 setup.

you are correct, fronts are 8.5"

also, going to a wider tire doesnt change the 'track' of the car. track is measured from the centerline of the wheel so it doesnt matter how much tire or wheel is on either side.

offset Will change track width.

Track was the wrong choice of words...what I meant to say to keep the same balance if you are going to widen the width by 10mm you should do it front and rear. I didn't mean it that way...sorry
